Bought this item 2 years ago to keep in my Prius. Prius' can't jump start other cars, so I thought this would be good to keep around for emergencies. Since then I have used it several times, both on my own car, and on several others. It's small, fairly light (for a lead battery), and does a good job. It recently died on me, probably for good. However, I won't deduct any stars for that because I NEVER got in the habit of charging it every 30 days like you're supposed to. I charged it only after I used it, and once in a while, not even then. Regardless of my neglect, when I needed it, it worked. Sometimes after months without use or maintenance. I also left it in my car at all times, so it was regularly subjected to cycles of freezing and burning temperatures. I'm willing to bet it would have lasted longer if I actually took care of it. Until the day it died, though, it never failed to start a car. That includes SUVs, but I never tried it on anything bigger.
